Senior Photography
Any way to combine photography and psychology for my senior project?
I have to do a senior project, and I wanted to find a way to combine my interests…photography and psychology…any ideas? It needs to have some sort of “product” (ie. an event, slideshow, model, etc.)
You could also take some photographs representing different phobias, trying to make the photos look the way phobic people see them. Show a “normal” photo, and then a “phobic” photo of the same thing. Like when people are paranoid, they think everyone is watching them. Have a photo like in the food court, with everyone doing their own thing, and then have a photo with everyone looking at the camera.
With 2 photos for each mental aberration, you could have a decent slide show with about 10-12 mental conditions.
Paranoia,
Jealousy,
Claustrophobia
Fear of heights
Germophobia (?) fear of germs
Agoraphobia
etc.
I think combining photography with psychology will make for a really cool project.
