Lifetouch Photography

I want to get my Associates in Photography, how much on average would I be paid?
I’ am unsure and doubtfully want to go for my BS because I’ am not in no way cut out for school…it is not my thing but I do need some education to do something and I love photography so I figured I would get into that and I was just wondering(if employed by someone) how much on average would I be paid? because so far I’m not even sure what companies are out there that would hire me. My sister works for Lifetouch but thats only about$9-10hr, which is pretty bad to live by yourself on, she’s engaged so she’s a little better off than I would be.
You wrote, “I was just wondering(if employed by someone) how much on average would I be paid?”
You don’t go into photography to be “employed by someone,” that’s not how it’s done.
You go into photography to start your own business and you (hopefully) will have clients who hire you to do jobs for them. It’s actually kind of similar to being a plumber or a contractor, in as much as you are an independent businessman and people hire you to do individual jobs for them as needed.
That having been said, if you’re a famous fashion photographer in New York City, you can make millions, but if you’re just a regular Joe who photographs weddings and graduations and yearbook photos in a small town, you’ll make about the same annual income as plumbers and AC guys and other contractors like that.
Good luck!… ☺

On Photography $81.25 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles On Photography is a 1977 collection of essays by Susan Sontag. It originally appeared as a series of essays in the New York Review of Books between 1973 and 1977. In the book, Sontag expresses her views on the history and presentday role of photography in capitalist societies as of the 1970s. Sontag discusses many examples of modern photography. Among these, she contrasts Diane Arbuss work with that of Depressionera documentary photography commissioned by the Farm Security Administration. She also explores the history of American photography in relation to the idealistic notions of America put forth by Walt Whitman and traces these ideas through to the increasingly cynical aesthetic notions of the 1970s, particularly in relation to Arbus and Andy Warhol.
